CMR University Bengaluru has been placed in the 40th position amongst the Institutes of Excellence in India in the 2021 Global Impact Rankings (GIR) issued by R World Institutional Ranking. . These rankings are tabulated on the basis of evaluations that rate Indian institutions contributing significantly towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) which are a set of 17 integrated parameters such as elimination of poverty, protection of the Earth, and ensuring prosperity & peace to all by the year 2030.
The Global Impact Rankins rates institutions based on how their educational efforts seek to meet the above SDGs. CMR University has been declared the 40th institute of excellence contributing significantly to the SDGs.
In the rankings, the University has managed to outdo numerous biggies such as Xavier University, KLE Technological University, Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science (HITS), Assam Don Bosco University, and more.
