The CMRU-IQAC is an internal mechanism for sustenance, assurance and enhancement of the quality culture of education imparted by CMRU. CMRU has established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance activity. CMRU, enlisted and recognized under UGC Section 2(f).The CMRU-QAC serves as an internal mechanism dedicated to ensuring excellence in every facet of academic endeavors undertaken within our institution.
In pursuance of its Action Plan for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation, and quality improvement at CMR University, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been established. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of the University academic system and work towards the realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the University. The CMR University guidelines provided in the following pages will guide and facilitate the University in the creation and operation of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
IQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for ensuring the timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks, The relevance and quality of academic and research programs, Equitable access to and affordability of academic programs for various sections of society, The optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning, The credibility of evaluation procedures, ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services, The sharing of research findings and networking with other institutions in India and abroad.
At CMRU, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is established with Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. H. B. Raghavendra at its helm. As the chairman, Prof. Dr. H. B. Raghavendra leads the IQAC in its efforts to ensure and enhance the quality of education and academic processes within the university.
