The School of Engineering and Technology, CMR University organized a seminar on Outcome Based Education (OBE) on 30th October 2019. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Rajashekar Patil, Head of Department, Mechanical Engineering Department. The session was for 90 minutes where in Dr. Patil gave a briefed about the need for Outcome Based Education to the newly joined faculty of SOET. The session shed light on its objectives and the several steps through which it can be implemented in current teaching practices. The session also included a briefing of how Outcome Based Education is different from traditional teaching practices and its effectiveness in current education scenarios.
