The Certificate Course in Architectural Draftsmanship is designed to enable students to continue their education, after their studies have been discontinued post higher secondary education for various reasons. This course will equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge required seek employment in architectural and engineering firms.

This course serves as an introduction to buildings and building elements – foundations, walls, roofs, doors, windows, partitions, staircases, lifts and toilets. The course also emphasizes on the various techniques of drawing building plans, elevations and sections. Students learn about the different views of buildings – isometric, axonometric, perspective views, and their components. Also, the course imparts knowledge on drafting these elements to satisfy the structural, architectural, aesthetic needs, both manually and through the usage of software tools like AUTOCAD and Revit.
