Dr. Rubini is the Head of Department (HoD) In-charge of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology (SOET) – CMR University-Main Campus, Bagalur, Bengaluru. Dr. Rubini is actively involved in mentoring students through the Design Thinking pedagogy where students are encouraged to come up with multiple solutions to problems iteratively and thereby simplify the whole problem whilst rapidly developing solutions.

When did you join CMR University?

I have been associated with CMR University since January 2019. I initially joined as an Associate Professor.

Kindly describe your Academic Credentials?

I have completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science & Engineering, along with Masters (M.E.) in Computer Science & Engineering; and Doctoral studies (Ph.D.) in Computer Science & Engineering.

How many years of academic and research experience do you possess?

I possess 10 years of experience in teaching and research.

What is your current scope of work, at the SOET, CMR University?

I am currently teaching theory subjects for higher semesters, while also handling laboratory sessions for students from the Computer Science and Information Technology streams.

What are your key achievements at CMR University?

I have been associated as a Member of – Board of Studies, and also a Member of the Curriculum Development team. As part of my role, I also conduct regular interactions with experts from the industry on curriculum development. I have also been constantly assisting the academics/curriculum team in achieving significant academic milestones set by the management of CMR University.
