CMR University Student Law Review (Online)

The journal calls for original, unpublished work from law students across the country.

Theme

The journal invites submissions on any issue within the realm of law or its intersection with other disciplines. Authors are encouraged to critically analyze existing laws and legal frameworks, challenging conventional interpretations and offering fresh insights and potential reforms. The work may be submitted under the following categories. The authors are expected to strictly adhere to the prescribed word limits.

Long Articles

Comprehensive articles reflecting well-reasoned opinion of the author/s on legal issues of contemporary relevance – 5000 – 8000 words.

Short Articles

Short articles on specific issues concerning law and allied areas – 3000- 5000 words.

Case notes/Comments

Comments on recent landmark judgements – 1500 – 3000 words.
Book Reviews:  Comprehensive review of recent books on law and allied areas – 1500 – 3000 words.
Note:
      • Every submission shall be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 250 words reflecting the importance of the topic in the Contemporary world.
      • The prescribed word limit mentioned above shall exclude Abstract and Footnotes.
      • Speaking footnotes and End notes are not permitted.

Each of the entries shall adhere to the CMRU SLR Submission Guidelines.
