Call for Papers: Journal of Alternate Dispute Resolution
The Centre for ADR is coming up with its first online journal. As it is the endeavor of the Centre for ADR to become the beacon in the field of Arbitration and other ADR mechanism by encouraging synthesis of knowledge and best practices cutting across students, academia, industry, practitioners and research fraternity. The Journal welcomes submissions from academicians, practitioners, research scholars and students from law and allied fields.
The Centre for ADR inviting articles / research papers, case comment and book reviews on the contemporary topics and themes of Arbitration and other ADR mechanism for publication in the E.Journal of Alternate Dispute Resolution.
This is done with an aim to bring academicians, professionals, legal experts, judges and students on panels for discussions as subject of ADR is multidisciplinary in nature; to encourage debates amongst participants of the Centre and produce academic research for ADR. Hence inviting/ calling for original, unpublished work from law students, research scholars, academicians and other professionals working in any sectors related to law all over the country.
The submission may be on any contemporary issue related to Alternate Dispute Resolution ADR mechanisms including but not limiting to negotiation, conciliation, mediation, and arbitration. As ADR is a new and emerging inter-disciplinary field that is concerned with, inter-alia:
The work may be submitted under the following categories. The authors are expected to strictly adhere to the prescribed word limits.
Comprehensive articles reflecting well-reasoned opinion of the author/s on legal issues of contemporary relevance – 5000 – 8000 words
Short articles on specific issues concerning law and allied areas – 3000- 5000 words
Comments on recent landmark judgments – 1500 – 3000 words
Book Reviews:
Comprehensive review of recent books on law and allied areas – 1500 – 3000 words
