On the morning of 26th January, CMR University – SOET celebrated Republic Day. This day marked the 71st year of India becoming a sovereign republic. The Dean, HOD’s, faculty and non-teaching staff members did not leave any stone unturned in making this monumental day a memorable one. Dr. Jayaprasad M, Dean, SOET, was the Chief Guest. He was warmly welcomed by the entire staff and escorted by our Physical Education Director, Dr. Lohith N.H to unfurl the National Flag.
The Hon’ble guest unfurled the national flag, after which everyone sang the National Anthem. This was followed by a motivational speech, which highlighted upon the contribution of great freedom fighters.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks from Prof. Ajay Sudhir Bale.
