The Post Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is provided by the Ekya Professional Development Institute and recognised by CMR University.
The programme equips aspiring educators with the essential knowledge and skills needed to teach and support young learners (ages 3-8) in early childhood settings. It is designed to promote effective teaching practices, with an emphasis on developing foundational (literacy and numeracy) skills, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving in young children.
> Part-time online-blended learning format
> Combination of theory, practical application, and hands-on learning
> Online self-paced learning and online live sessions on the weekends
> Includes optional field immersion and in-person workshops
> Includes an internship or capstone (research) project at an ECE setting
> PG Diploma awarded after final submission and presentation of report (No term-end written exam)
> Awards 40 credits as per the National Credit Framework
> Placement training and assistance provided
Candidates should have passed with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in any Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent examination from a recognized University.
