Dr Smitha Philip is an alumnus of Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara & Sardar Patel University, Anand Gujarat. Having earned her Doctorate in Social Work. She has been involved in the field of academics for nearly a decade, teaching at various levels. She has also been involved in generating many articles of social relevance in various reputed Journals like, “A study on parental support for school going children in Bangalore city & Relationship between parental support and Personality”; “A comparative study of single child and children with siblings etc”. She has attended many International and National level conferences and workshops. She has also presented a paper on” Digitization in health care in India “at an International Conference at East Point Institute recently. She has had a stint as Lecturer at Jubilee College and East Point college in Bangalore. Besides serving as an Assistant Professor in the department of Social Work, CMR University. She is also a Ph.D. guide in Social Work.
