CMR University Bengaluru Forms First Alumni Association Board

With renewed focus on developing robust Alumni networks, CMR University (CMRU) Bengaluru one of the best private universities in Karnataka recently formed its very first Alumni Association Board. The members to the board were chosen through elections held on 8 January 2022. Term of the Alumni Association board members is for 1 year and goes on for the academic year 2022-23.

Intent of the CMR University Alumni Association

The CMR University Alumni Association aims to maintain a lifelong relationship with the alumni by informing, engaging and inspiring them to stay connected with their Alma mater. The alumni association of CMRU, one of the top deemed university in Bangalore, will standby to support the university’s vision and contribute to its success.

Alumni Engagement Activities

CMRU, one of the best private universities in Karnataka, has come up with this initiative to strengthen collaboration between the CMRU Alumni and the university. The alumni association and the university will jointly focus on academics, career counseling, and job placements. Some of the core engagement activities to be planned are:

1. Inviting alumni to associate with their Alma mater and encouraging them to stay connected through latest technology digitally or in person through regular visits to the University.
2. Annual Alumni Meetings by CMRians – every first Sunday in August.
3. Formation of Alumni Chapters in major cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.
4. Upskilling initiatives for current students 
5. Creating networking and incubation facilities for CMRU Alumni members.
