CMR University Bengaluru has been awarded the Emerging University of the Year at the 15th International Education Leadership and Skill Development Summit by ASSOCHAM National Council on Education.

The award was presented by Hon. Minister of State for Defence and Tourism Shri Ajay Bhatt in the presence of Mr Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, Chairman ASSOCHAM National Council on Education and Mr Deepak Sood, Secretary-General, ASSOCHAM at a gala ceremony in New Delhi.

On CMR University being honoured as the Emerging University of the Year, Chancellor Dr Sabitha Ramamurthy stated, “I feel truly honoured to know that CMR University has been awarded as the Emerging University of the Year. I am indeed grateful to those who recognised our work and chose CMRU  for the award. With this award, my responsibilities towards driving CMR University to newer heights have increased, and it motivates me to strive for excellence in the field of education.”

CMR University (CMRU), Bengaluru is a private university in the state of Karnataka, established under Act 45 of 2013, and is empowered by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to award degrees.
