On 30th of October 2019, The School of Engineering and Technology kick started an initiative to provide spoken Kannada classes to both students and faculty at the SOET Campus. The inaugural class took place at 1:30 PM where the faculty and students were given a brief session about the basics of the language. As it is important for anyone who is a resident in Karnataka to be able to communicate in native tongue, the Spoken Kannada classes is a great initiative not only to be able to communicate with one another, it would help build stronger bonds between people of all communities and backgrounds in our state.
