Prof. Muralishankar received VGST Award for the year 2018-19 and under the category, "Award for Research Publication"

The Vision Group of Science and Technology (VGST) is under the Dept. of Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka. The Award for Research Publication (ARP) is given to every year to encourage qualitative and quantitative expansion of research papers’ publication by faculty members working at Universities, Colleges and Research Institutions of the Karnataka State.

Prof. R. Muralishankar, Dept. of ECE, SoET, CMR University is one of ARP grantees of 2018-19 under VGST schemes to receive cash award of Rs. 25,000.00 and a Citation. The award function was held at AMRL Conference Hall, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Jakkur, Bengaluru at 10:30 a.m. on September 12, 2019. This function was chaired by Bharat Ratna Prof. C. N. R. Rao, FRS., Prof. R. Narasimha, Prof. M. R. S.Rao of JNCASR and Dr. E. V. Ramana Reddy, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of IT, BT and S & T, Government of Karnataka, graced the occasion.
